No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.

The sooner the better! Weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, a deposit is required. If something comes up and you need to change the date, reschedule as soon as possible.

Growing up, I often found old video tapes or film rolls around my parents' house. Every time, I would look for a device to view those forgotten memories on but rarely found one. Technology had already changed. Despite the odds, I would tuck those unlabeled video tapes and rolls of film into my desk in hopes of ONE DAY. I didn't know what was on them. They could have been blank. But, during long spells of homework, I often would take those tapes out from my desk and simply imagine what memories they held. Move after move, those tapes and rolls of film stayed with me.
Almost twenty-five years later, I eventually found someone to retrieve those memories, but, even then, the quality of the tapes had diminished over time for a less than stellar output. When I finally put the USB of forgotten footage into my computer and saw what it was, a tear trickled down my face. The tapes, after many years of hope and wonder, were not blank after all. It was footage of my older sister's 7th birthday party, footage of my grandparents now passed, 5 year old me twirling in ballet class, my dad shooting hoops at Chucky Cheese, my mom conducting Cleveland's Symphony Orchestra, and scenes from the house I grew up in.
It's easy to think that a hard drive or photos in "the cloud" will suffice. However, how are those photos serving your family?
