History was my least favorite subject in school, but here I am, a historian of sorts. Perhaps home-based or personal stories intrigue me more because of how collectively large those stories will impact future generations. When I think about the type of legacy I want to leave, it is merely that 'I loved well.' There is always much greatness to be found and created inside the walls of one's home. The "good" may rarely make history but they do leave enduring legacies of love and hope.
Walt Whitman once wrote, "We were together. I forget the rest." For me, the best photos are the ones that communicate that message, fleeting moments that linger in your heart forever.
